On this page, you'll find Information about the Galactic Federation.
First, let me say that the Galactic Federation was set up in 1304BBY in an attempt to bring the people of the Union under a more peaceful rule. The Galactic Federation was the Union's Army, touring the Galaxy and destroying any upcoming or visible threats.
Unfortunately, the peacekeeping itself fell to an unknown threat in 1061BBY, when Darth Morgarr, the last ruling lineage to the Sith, gained control of the Federation. He turned the massive army to evil, and began a dictatorship over two thirds of the Galaxy. Anyone who argued with the Galactic Federation was instantly, and permanently, crushed.
Even the Union was powerless towards Morgarr and the Federation, as Morgarr held over 250,000,000 troops from all corners of his tyrannous empire. The only way they could defeat the Federation was to destroy Morgarr, and the perfect opportunity came in 1056BBY, when Morgarr invaded the Planet of Malastare.

Everyone in Morgarr's army would be issued with a personal code. Here is how the System works.
Your Code might be- DM-23-D-890-098-L-4
"DM" Stands for "Darth Morgarr". This simply shows that you are in his army
"235" Shows your Battilion number. There are 25 in total
"D" is your group number. These are listed A-J.
"890" is your Team number. There are 1000 in total.
"098" shows which legion you are in. They go up to 100. N.B.- All numbers must have three figures.(001, 010 etc.)
"L" is your Squad Letter. These Progress from A to T.
"4" is your personal number. There are 5 per squad.
Should you become a commander of a certain part of Morgarr's Army, you would have all letters and numbers below you command position erased.
For Example-(Using Code above.)
If you became squad commander, you would lose your personal number, as this is below your command rank. If you became Battilion Commander, you would lose everything apart from "DM" and your battilion number. It sounds complicated I know, but it does mak things simpler than just having one big, long number!
(Morgarr's personal Guard were given the code "DM-0" and then a number from one to twenty.)
